Indications Anaesthetic and analgesic.
Caution See p. 260. induction of dissociative anesthesia.
Dose Range 1-4.5mg/kg intravenously or 6.5-13mg/kg intramuscularly . S edation and analgesia: 2-4mg/kg I.m or 0.2-0.75mg/kg IV.
Drug Interactions
Pregnancy May depress neonatal respiration if used during delivery.
Breast Feeding Avoid for at least 12 hours after last dose.
