Therapeutic Class CCBs, MISCELLANEOUS
Indications Class IV antiarrhythmic.
Caution Do not combine with beta blockers. Nausea, vomiting, hypotension. Avoid grapefruit juice. Concurrent use with caffeine may result in enhanced CNS stimulation. C.f. prescribing in liver disease p. 18.
Dose Range Arrhythmias: 120-480mg 3-4 divided doses. Inj. 5-10mg slow i.v. over 2-3 minutes (preferably with ECG monitoring); Angina: 120mg
3 times daily or sustained release as 120-240mg once daily .
