Peripheral vascular disease. Pentoxifylline is indicated as an adjunct to surgery for treatment of intermittant claudication related to chronic occlusive arterial disease of the limbs.

|
May take 2-4 weeks to see onset of action. Hypotension, nausea, dizziness.
|
|
|
400mg 2-3 times daily with meals.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Use with caution.
|
|
|
Pentoxifylline is distributed in breastmilk and is not recommended for lactating women.
|
