Management of symptomatic anaemia associated with chronic renal failure in dialysis and predialysis patients.

Concurrent infection can impair the response to erythropoietin. Aggravation of hypertension (dose-dependent), cardiovascular events, dose-dependent increase in platelet count regressing during treatment.
|
|
|
Initial dose 50 international units/kg three times weekly, increased at 4-week intervals in increments of 25 units/kg until the target is reached. maintenance 75-300 units/kg once weekly.
