Prevention of DVT in orthopedic, abdominal and gynaecologic surgical procedures. May also be used in DVT and pulmonary embolism.

Unstable Angina: 1mg/kg s.c. every 12 hours for 2-12 day s in conjunction with aspirin therap y (100-325mg once a day ) DVT Prophylaxis: 20-40mg s.c. 2 hours p rior to surgery and then every 24 hours or 30mg every 12 hours for 7-1
Pregnancy itself increases the risk of thromboembolism. Pregnant women with a history of thromboembolic disease are at increased risk of maternal and fetal complications. Multidose vials of the drug contain benzyl alcohol which should be avoided.
If enoxaparin therapy is required in nursing women, use of a preservative (benzyl alcohol)-free formulation is recommended.
