Skin and soft tissue infections; respiratory tract infections, ottis media, uncomplicated genital chlamydia infections and non-gonococcal urethritis.

Gastrointestinal (abdominal pain, diarrhea and nausea), particularly with higher doses. Do not use with antacids.

Adult: 500mg daily for 3 day s or 500mg on first day then 250mg once daily for 4 days. Chancroid, Chlamydia: 1g stat dose. UncomplicatedGonorrhea: 2g stat dose. Pediatric: 6 months and over: 10mg/kg/day for 3 days. Tonsillitis: 2 years and over: 12mg/kg/
