EENT ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AGENTS

Treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
|
|
|
Headache occurred in 18% of patients receiving intranasal triamcinolone. Other adverse effects included nasal irritation, dry mucous membranes, congestion, throatdiscomfort, sneezing. Not recommended in children under 6 y ears.

|
Adults and Children 12 years and over: 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, decrease to one spray once daily as a maintenance dose. Pediatric (6-12 years): 1 sp ray into each nostril once daily. See BDS supply protocols pg. 11.
