Prophylaxis and long-term management of angina pectoris.
|
|
|
Postural hypotension, dizziness, syncope and vascular headache. Avoid alcohol. Take on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
|
|
|
Regular release: 20mg 2-3 times a day .Sustained release: 30-60mg once daily up to a maximum of 120mg once daily in divided doses.. The 60mg extended release may be broken but not chewed or crushed.

NITRATES:-Causes a generalized dilation of venules and to a much lesser extent arterioles. Used in the treatment of angina at the onset of the attack; and in some case for prophylaxis.
