Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, elevations in liver functions tests and alopecia. Low dose does not appear to increase risk of congenital abnormalities in t he first trimester.

Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis: 200mg on day 1 then
100mg PO/IV daily for at least 2 weeks. Systemic candidiasis: 400mg PO/IV once daily for 4 weeks and for at least 2 weeks orally after resolution of symptoms. Vaginal candidiasis: 150mg ora |

Clindamycin, Calcium channel blockers, Phenothiazines and Tricyclic antidepressants - increased risk of cardiotoxicity. Simvastatin and Cerivastatin - increased risk of Rhabdomyolysis. Amlodipine - increases amlodipine toxicity .

Avoid use in pregnancy. Multiple congenital abnormalities has been reported with long-term high doses.
