BACITRACIN

ANTIBIOTICS TOPICAL

|
|
Skin infections. Gram +ve organisms- Bacitracin, Tyrothricin. Gram –ve organisms- Neomycin, Polymixin.
|
|
|
When possible, sensitivity of the organism should be determined
before treatment, as resistant organisms are common. May cause frequent sensitisation, especially in prolonged use in leg ulcers. |
|
|
Apply 3 times daily to infected areas.
|
