ANTIRETROVIRALS MISCELLANEOUS
HIV-1 infection in treatment -naïve and treatment-experienced adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age or older.
Rash, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, unconjugated hyper- bilirubinemia, headache, lactic acidosis.
Adult: Atazanavir 300mg/ ritonavir 100mg once daily with food.
Ritonavir-Although the limited human data do not allow a better assessment of the risk of ritonavir during pregnancy, the animal data suggest that the drug may represent a low risk to the developing fetus.

Ritonavir-No reports describing the use of ritonavir during lactation have been located. The molecular weight (about 721) is low enough that excretion into breast milk should be expected. The effect on a nursing infant is unknown.
