CARBONIC ANHYDRASE INHIBITORS

For adjunctive treatment of chronic simple (open angle) glaucoma, secondary glaucoma and pre op in acute angle closure glaucoma.
|
|
|
Confusion, Gastric irritation, hypokalaemia, parasthesia, loss of appetite. C.f. Prescribing in renal disease p . 22. May cause drowsiness. Not approved for use in children.

Adults: 250mg to 1g daily in divided doses orally or parenterally .
