Therapeutic Class ALDOSTERONE RECEPTOR ANTAGONIST
Indications Hypertension, Chronic heart failure (NYHA class II-IV) with reduced ejection fraction
Caution Hyperkalemia, Hypercholesterolaemia, hypertriglyceridaemia
Dose Range Hypertension: Initially 50mg daily increased to a maximum of 50mg twice a day. HF: Initially 25mg daily, increased in 25mg increments, if tolerated, to a maximum of 50mg daily in a 4 week period.
