Indications Oxybutynin is an effective sp asmoly tic agent for the treatment of neurogenic bladder, bladder spasm, overactive bladder, and detrusor muscle instability .
Caution Tachycardia, palpitations, somnolence, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, mydriasis, urinary retention, and urticaria.
Dose Range Adults and Pediatric over 5 years: 5mg 2-3 times daily. Adult dose may be increased to 5mg 4 times daily. Geriatric: 2.5-5mg 4 times daily .
