Therapeutic Class FIRST GENERATION ANTIHISTAMINE
Indications Hay fever, allergic rhinitis, urticaria (prevention and treatment) and pruritis associated with skin disorders; emergency treatment of anaphylactic reactions.
Caution Dryness of mouth. Injections may be irritating and may cause transient hypotension. May cause drowsiness, if affected do not drive or operate machinery; avoid alcohol.
Dose Range 4-24mg in divided doses. Slow I.V . injection, SC or I.M: 10-
20mg, repeated if required. Maximum: 40mg in 24 hours. Pediatric:
