Malaria. Used with chloroquine.

To decrease G.I. side effects. Monitor for hematological effects.
|
|
|
15mg (base) daily for 14 day s. M ay be used for up to 21 day s. Take with food.
|

|
|
|
|
The manufacturer states that primaquine should be avoided during pregnancy. Risk of neonatal haemolysis and methaemoglobinaemia in third trimester.
