Treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis, dermatophytoses unresponsive to topical treatment, systemic infections.

Abdominal pain; diarrhoea, dysnoea; headache; hepatitis; hypokalaemia; nausea; rash; taste disturbances; vomiting.
Itraconazole should be avoided in patients with ventricular dysfunction or a history of heart failure unless the infection is serious. |

Adult: Vulvovaginal candidiasis: 200mg twice daily for 1 day , Recurrent Vulvovaginal candidiasis: 50-100mg daily for 6 months. Systemic candidiasis: 100-200mg once daily .

Small amounts present in milkâmay accumulate; manufacturer advises avoid.
